For the longest time I avoided rompers because I have a super-long torso. I learned my lesson the hard way when I bought my first romper in my usual size and couldn't even get it past my shoulders. I figured that other rompers would fit the same way and resigned myself to not wearing them for the next eight years or so.
And yet my attraction to rompers has never wavered – mainly because they seem so low-fuss and comfortable. In my mind, rompers are just like dresses, only without the hassle of having to tug down on them all the time to make sure your bum's not exposed.
Recently I decided to give it another go with this wrap V-neck version from Mango with a cinched elastic waist, and I'm SO glad I did – clearly, looser fits are key for my body type. Thankfully I was able to get a few wears in before San Francisco's winter officially hit... it's now officially too cold for shorts.
