Sustainable fashion brand NEEMIC, previously based in Hong Kong, has been hard at work since relocating to Beijing last spring. Besides launching the Beijing Fashion Collective (which is still very much in the works), NEEMIC is also organizing an exhibition that showcases the range of local fashion, photography and street-style culture. “Mono” stands for “monoculture,” the concept behind NO MORE MONO being that fashion is a multi-disciplinary and creatively diverse field.

Don’t miss the free wine at the opening party this Friday, 7pm at the Liang Diang Design Center. The exhibition will run until March 3, featuring sample sales on February 24 and a roundtable discussion on their final day. Participating designers include NEEMIC and Sara Yun, plus several fashion photographers from Matjaž Tančič to my friend Jeff Yiu. For bios on all the exhibitors, click here.
